Sentimental Journey is a musical revue featuring some of the best music from the 1940s. Set in the fictional radio station, WSCT, the show features such songs as Alexander’s Ragtime Band, Sentimental Journey, America the Beautiful, How Ya Gonna Keep ‘Em Down on the Farm, I Love You for Sentimental Reason, ‘S Wonderful, Baby, Its Cold Outside, They Can’t Take that Away From Me, and more. The songs are weaved together by news reports and 1940s radio commercials.

On September 11, 2011 our world changed with the 9-11 attacks on the United States. Starkville Community Theatre wanted to help like every other American organization. Our opporutnity to help came on October 5, 2001 when we produced a benefit performance for the American Red Cross.
