In this inventive and celebrated absurdist comedy, three Victorian lady travelers take it upon themselves to discover the mystery of things as they set out for an unexplored land called Terra Incognita. Though very different in their attitudes and their backgrounds, all three exhibit their own form of independence. From the world in general and specifically from men. As the ladies progress on their travels, the laws of time and space shift and it becomes apparent that they are not on an ordinary journey.

Starkville Community Theatre presented On the Verge as its 2025 competition show for the Mississippi Theatre Association. The production won several awards including Bradley Long – Outstanding Performance in a Supporting Role; Jasmine Johnson – Outstanding Achievement in Acting; Jo Durst – Outstanding Costume Design; and Jo Durst – Best Props.
