About the Benefit                                                                                                                              The events of Sept. 11 shattered many lives and dreams, yet our American Spirit lives on. We have witnessed these tragedies from a distance, but the moving stories of heroism, sacrifice and devotion have brought all of us closer as families, friends, communities and Americans. We at Starkville Community Theatre feel no less entwined in this uniting spirit and welcome the opportunity to offer aid to the American Red Cross and its Liberty Fund, along with comfort and support to our community. We dedicate our performances of Sentimental Journey to the unwavering American spirit, symbolized so magnificently by generations of sacrifice and a quest for the greater good.
